The person or farm who genuinely loves the pets will take care of the dogs and you should buy the puppies from such places only. This will make sure that the pet is taken care of and will survive in your care.

Another reason is genetic. The dog bought from the “Puppy farm” is only for their appearance, as the owner wants to make profits from the sale. They do not look beyond the looks. But a good breeder will take care of the dog and knows that the appearance of the dog is not very important but the temperament of the dog.

The pet dogs also have temperaments and when you are in the market for the Boston Terrier buy one which suits your temperament. You should never judge the puppy by its cuteness but you should know its personality and if the same also fits in with your personality.

The breeder who asks for your qualifications and not how much you can pay for the dog is the right person. Like the breeder should care for their puppies and should know he is sending the puppy in its right place.

The breeder should be able to take back the puppy if you are not able to take care of it. The real breeder will always give you their contact address in case if you have any problem with the dog and if they need to be contacted in case if you change your mind. Do not buy the puppies from the people who just sell the dog and disappear.

Also, look for proper documents of the dog. The true breeder can trace the lineage of the dog and this will ensure that you are picking the best.

Head: The head is broad, but long. Eyebrows are very prominent. The cheeks are shapely from the eye to the nostril, ears are set low. Their expression is very fierce.

Eyes: Bright and deeply set. They are full of determination and a steady expression. They look remarkable.Shoulders: Well cut is strong and wide and the arms are long and powerful.

Neck: Length is of importance which gives them an air of majesty.

Legs and feet: The bones are perfectly straight from the arms. The knees are flat and at level.

Coat: Short smooth and hard hair. The texture is bristles but nicely laid.

Color: Tan, Brown or black or intermixed with markings of white with perfect mixture of shape and size.

Height: Dogs height ideally should be 23 to 25 inches and the bitches from 22 to 23 inches.
